Comte de Saint Aignan is a wine exhibiting the aromas and flavors of youth has you’d expect from a new born wine from Joost de Villebois, a renowned Loire Sauvignon Blanc winemaker and wine grower producing some of the finest wines coming out the Loire Valley.
The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc originate from the Loire Valley, on the banks of the river Cher, near the picturesque town of Saint Aignan. Also known as Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher, it is in the department of Loir-et-Cher, within the administrative region of Centre-Val de Loire.
Youthful and lively, Comte de Saint Aignan’s aromas include grapefruit, kiwi and ripe peach. On the palate, the wine exhibits clean acidity and luscious exotic fruit flavors, granny smith apple and mango. Extended finish.
