2023 | 95% Merlot, 5% Cab Sauv - Organic

With a deep bouquet of rich wild berries that evolves into plum and leather. Its fruit-forward palate and balanced tannins, which is drinking very nicely now, will broaden gracefully. 

Located at the eastern edge of Right-Bank Bordeaux, This AOC has some of the highest clay-limestone and marl hillsides in the Gironde. The hillsides for this wine face mainly SSW. This allows the grapes to reach perfect maturity.

The climate in Francs is more Continental than in the rest of the larger region, with harsher winters and hotter summers. Surrounded by the valleys of the Isle and the Dordogne, where the prevailing west winds strengthen, the Francs-Côtes de Bordeaux receives less water than its neighbours.
